RoseAnne Spradlin named Director of new low residency MFA program

Choreographer RoseAnne Spradlin has been named Director of a new low residency MFA program in Choreography and Visual Arts at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA.  The two-year program's first MFA class, with students coming from Pennsylvania, Arizona, New York City and Paris, France, met for the month of July 2015 on the Wilson campus. Online courses and home-area mentoring continue throughout the year.

"The new job allows me to develop my interest in somatics and body-mind studies while deepening my personal investigation of choreography and the visual arts.  I love working with younger artists and providing short-term job opportunities for other artists I admire. The MFA hosts at Wilson are great people with open minds; the campus is quiet and green; we more or less take over the place for the month of July; the first summer was full of surprise and wonder (and great dinners by Paula!)" - RA
